The Ball-Sellers House is hosting a ticketed fundraiser event featuring local brews. Join us as we relax on the grounds of the Ball-Sellers House, Arlington’s oldest structure, a c. 1750 farmhouse. No doubt, generations of residents enjoyed local–even individually–brewed libations through the centuries. Treat yourself! For $40, you can enjoy:
- A fun talk about the history of brewing in Arlington by brewery historian, Dr. Mark Benbow
- Early American fiddle music by Paul Carlson of Classical Fiddle

- New District Brewing Company: I Am the Senate. “A rich, complex, and boozy stout oozing layers of chocolate, coffee, and stone fruit that coats the tongue.” (A legacy brewery)
- Nighthawk Brewing Company: Festbier. “The modern day “Oktoberfestbier” now served at the official Oktoberfest in Germany. Festbier is a bright and golden beer with a clean, but strong malty backbone, and light hop profile.”
- Port City Brewing Company: Porter. “Smooth and silky, Porter pours a dark mahogany color with a firm cap of tan foam. It has bittersweet chocolate and coffee notes and a depth that bigger beers aspire to.”
