The history of education in Arlington can be told through the experiences of the people who shaped its schools.
This oral history project was created as part of an Eagle Scout project in partnership with the Arlington Historical Society. The project lays the groundwork for a future exhibit on the history of education in Arlington by recording interviews with educators, administrators, and community members who have played important roles in Arlington Public Schools.
Each interview preserves personal reflections on teaching, leadership, challenges, and change within the school system. Together, these recordings help document how education in Arlington has evolved over time.
We invite you to explore the interviews below and learn from the voices that continue to shape Arlington’s schools.
