This book presents life of Dr. Charles Drew who conducted research on the properties and preservation of blood plasma and was a leader in establishing blood banks.  Dr. Drew lived with his family in Arlington.  This Children’s Press book is one of its “Getting to Know the World’s Greatest Inventors and Scientists” series.
