Game: Arlingtonopoly (2024)

$40.00

Category: Game
  • Description

Description

Monopoly has many versions, but none like this 2024 edition of Arlingtonopoly produced by the Arlington Chamber of Commerce. This edition celebrates the Chamber’s centennial anniversary.

Instead of Baltic Avenue and Marvin Gardens, players can build a real estate empire atop George Mason University and National Landing. The utilities are Washington Gas and Dominion Energy.  The four railroads are Metro stops.  The game pieces are different, too. there’s still a dog, but now there’s a hard hat instead of a top hat, a flamingo (representing Arlington’s LGBTQ+ friendly mainstay Freddie’s Beach Bar), and an Air Force Memorial. It’s the Chamber of Commerce so there’s business advertising, but in a fun way.

Box and Board design by local Design Powers who also occupy the $220 space.

Every purchase you make here on this website helps support the AHS mission to strengthen our community by building a better understanding of our diverse history.
