Description

This map, reproduced from the original published in 1892, “Shows the principal points of interest including the present condition of the Defenses of Washington compiled from the latest maps and from original surveys and reconnaissances by the engineering platoon of the Engineering Corps D.C.N.G. F. Laverill, C.E. Lieut. Comdg Platoon.”

The map is on a white background with black ink. The explanations in the bottom left and right corners are in red ink.  The map is 22 in high X 28 in wide and suitable for framing.
