Always Collecting: Building Arlington’s Story is a temporary exhibit that just opened at the museum.
The Arlington Historical Society’s collection is always growing – thanks to the generosity of our community. Each year we add new artifacts, photographs, and documents that help tell the many stories of life in Arlington.
Recent acquisitions include family treasures, local business memorabilia, and items that highlight how our neighborhoods have changed over time. We’re currently seeking artifacts that reflect Arlington’s last 50 years – objects connected to everyday life, activism, immigration, culture, schools, and community organizations.
These recent histories are vital to understanding who we are today and how Arlington continues to evolve.
If you have an item or story that helps share Arlington’s diverse history, we’d love to hear from you!
